Why does this matter?

The static map is served from this website. Google Maps is not loaded when you open the page. A connection to Google is made only after you explicitly confirm that you want to load the map.

No automatic loading

Until you confirm, this page makes no Google Maps request. You may also open Google Maps directly using the clearly labelled links.

What happens when you load the map

Your browser connects directly to Google Maps to display the interactive map. Google receives at least the technical request needed to respond, including your IP address. Depending on your browser and Google Account settings, Google may use cookies or similar tracking technologies and process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Provider and further information

For people in the European Economic Area, Google generally identifies Google Ireland Limited as the provider of its consumer services. Google may process information on servers in other countries. Consult Google’s own sources for its current terms, policy and international-transfer arrangements.

Your choice

You can keep the static image or cancel the notice without loading Google Maps. The map is loaded only after you explicitly click the button to confirm. By clicking the button, you explicitly agree to the data transfer to Google. The current version does not store that decision: when you reload the page, the static image is shown again.
